Football That Changes The Game for Young People

Game Changer is FootballPlus’ flagship fundraising event, but it’s about far more than football.
Today, young people in Singapore face two urgent challenges. According to the Singapore Mental Health Study, 1 in 3 youths aged 14–18 has experienced mental health symptoms. At the same time, children from disadvantaged homes face barriers that can shut doors before they ever get a chance to open them.
Football can be a safe space: a place of connection, mentorship and growth. Every dollar raised through Game Changer goes directly to FootballPlus’s programmes that use the game to build confidence, belonging and hope.
•       Champions Unlimited: training, mentoring and academic support for children from disadvantaged backgrounds
•       STAY in the Game: a football-based mental wellness initiative for young people
•       FootballPlus weekly football: regular training and competitions that keep young people connected and growing

Meet Adam

Adam* is 10. He lives with his family in a 2-room rental flat, 45sqm in size. School hasn’t been easy for him. But every week, Adam shows up: first for study time, then for football training. And on that pitch, he finds mentors, teammates, and a reason to believe in himself.
Through programmes like Champions Unlimited and STAY in the Game, many young people like Adam discover confidence, belonging and hope.

Field a team of colleagues for your one-hour match block against a FootballPlus team.

2. Become an Impact or Legacy Donor

Join as an Impact Donor (from $10,000) or a Legacy Donor (from $50,000).
Or pledge towards our 250 Goals for $250,000 campaign: sponsors pledge $1,000 per goal scored, with live goal tracking and milestone celebrations throughout the 24 hours. Every goal unlocks impact!

Can’t field a team? Every contribution counts towards the $350,000 target, and donations of $10 and above are eligible for 250% tax deduction.

What is Game Changer?

FootballPlus’ flagship fundraising event: a 24-hour football marathon where 24 corporate teams play 24 consecutive one-hour matches against FootballPlus teams, raising $350,000 for youth programmes.

When and where is it?

Friday 6 to Saturday 7 November 2026, at The Boys’ Brigade Headquarters, 10 Kwong Avenue S348884.

How much does it cost to enter a team?

$3,000 per corporate team. This covers your one-hour match block and all team benefits.

What’s the match format?

7-a-side. Each fixture is one hour: 3 × 15-minute segments with 5-minute recovery intervals and rolling substitutions.

Do we choose our match time?

Match blocks run from 6:00pm Friday to 6:00pm Saturday.
Slots will first be allocated based on the donation tiers. After which, remaining slots will be allocated based on a first-come-first served basis.

How fit do we need to be?

The format is designed to be accessible: 15-minute segments, recovery breaks and rolling substitutions mean players of all levels can take part.

What is “250 Goals for $250,000”?

Donors pledge $1,000 for every goal scored across the 24 hours, up to 250 goals. Goals are tracked live, with milestone celebrations as the total goals climb.

Where does the money go?

Directly to FootballPlus youth programmes: Champions Unlimited (training, mentoring, academic support), STAY in the Game (football-based mental wellness) and weekly football training and competitions.

Are donations tax-deductible?

Every gift goes even further - donations to FootballPlus are tax-deductible, thanks to our IPC charity status. Team entry fees and tiered donations are also tax-deductible.
